This is a superimposed triple of three boys mounted on an 11x14 background.

This piece is 18x24 in size. The silhouettes are cut out of cement colored paper and mounted on a lake background.

Here is some of my most recent work using colored paper. The couple was done in chocolate on khaki. The family was done in fuschia on white. The color on the screen might not show as the true color exactly.

Karl will be cutting silhouettes in person at local boutiques in Southern/Northern California this month. The stores are taking appointments now and they make wonderful Mother's Day gifts for Moms and Grandmas!

Bridal Guide

We had our scrapbook featured in Bridal Guide this month. When I go to weddings, I always cut two silhouettes of each guest. One goes in a scrapbook for the bride & groom and the guest writes a personal note under their silhouette. This makes a great keepsake!

These silhouettes were created by Karl and then the client used them for her Dad's birthday party. They were used on the invitation, cake, napkins and also framed and hung on the wall. What a great idea. Thanks for sending the pictures!

Silhouette Artist at North Carolina State Fair

Karl will be cutting silhouettes in The Village of Yesteryear at the North Carolina State Fair again this year from October 14-25th. This is Karl's 15th year as a member of the Village of Yesteryear which is a Heritage Arts & Crafts Village. The Village itself has been a part of the State Fair for over 50 years and we are proud to be members.
